Carnivorous Plant-ing

  • PLANT by Packwood 60 Rose Street Fitzroy, VIC, 3065 Australia (map)

No family of plants is quite so strange or fascinating as the various varieties of carnivorous plants! Learn firsthand from PLANT owner Bayden Hine about the incredible adaptations plants like Nepenthes, Drosera and others have evolved to be able to consume insects. Delicious!

In this class, we'll be working step-by-step through planting up our very own mini carnivorous bog gardens. If you've got your own vessel or container you'd prefer to use, feel free to bring it along - otherwise all plants and carnivorous plant-friendly soils are provided for you. Extra bits and pieces will also be available - you'll be spoiled for choice!

If you have any specific requests, get in touch via - otherwise, see you there!
